Pre-Admission Expenses
Costs for hospital-provided services directly related to a
patient’s upcoming hospital stay are covered. In addition,
pre-operative x-rays or other diagnostic procedures are
covered if they are:
- Performed within 10 days before the hospital
stay begins; and
- Directly related to the specific illness for which the
patient will be receiving care in the hospital.
