If You Are Overpaid Benefits

If by chance the Plan makes benefit payments on allowable expenses that are more than 100% of the maximum benefit amount, MILA reserves the right to recover the amount of the overpayment from individuals, insurance companies or any other Claim Administrators. If certain overpayments are not returned within four weeks of receipt, MILA has the right to cancel your coverage and begin legal action to recover the overpayment. See “Third-Party Reimbursement and Subrogation”.
